Seamless process
How It Works
Step 1: Prepare Your Wall
Clean the wall surface thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or grease. Make sure the wall is smooth, dry, and in good condition. Fill any holes or cracks with spackle and sand them down once dry. If there's old wallpaper, remove it completely before starting.
Step 2: Measure and Cut
Measure the height of your wall from ceiling to baseboard. Add an extra 2-3 inches to allow for trimming. Cut your wallpaper panels to this length. If your wallpaper has a pattern, plan your cuts carefully to ensure the design matches across panels.
Step 3: Apply Adhesive
Apply wallpaper paste evenly using a paint roller or brush. Depending on your wallpaper type, you may need to apply paste to the wall, to the back of the wallpaper, or use pre-pasted paper that requires water activation. Follow the specific instructions for your wallpaper.
Step 4: Hang and Smooth
Starting at the ceiling, carefully position your first panel on the wall. Use a wallpaper smoothing tool or squeegee to press the paper firmly against the wall, working from the center outward to eliminate air bubbles. Trim excess paper at the top and bottom with a sharp utility knife for a clean finish.
